About me

Hey There! My name is Jaxson,
or Jack for short!
Pronouns are They/Them.

I’ve been around the block a few times, and have an insatiable passion for learning! I’ve studied a range of subjects, including interests like: psychology, human anatomy, video game development, circus arts, web design, coding, graphic design, and eventually… massage therapy!

Like many others, I got tired of the capitalist grind during the COVID shut down. I took some time to reevaluate what I was doing with my life, and made the decision to quit my graphic design profession and start school for massage therapy.

I’ve actually been interested in massage and bodywork as a hobby since I was a kid. I would seek out articles online and read up on everything I could find on the subject. I may have only gotten licensed in 2022, but I have a decade plus of knowledge behind my skills.

I can confidently say that my love for helping people and my obsession with various anatomical sciences is an unbeatable combo.

Plus, I’m a hard core gym rat. I know how the muscles work!

About jackalope

Jackalope Massage Therapy is a passion project which aims to provide customized massage services to local athletes, workers, and everyone in-between.

I chose the name “Jackalope” for two reasons: It’s a play on my name, and I love a good branding pun. Also, I’m a sucker for mythical creatures and all things fantasy.

Jackalope is a LGBTQIA+ brand and welcomes community members and allies alike. If you're looking for an accepting atmosphere which offers a reprieve from the day-to-day grind, you'll find it here! (I took this picture ^_^)

“Wellness, I came to realize, will not happen by accident. It must be a daily practice, especially for those of us who are more susceptible to the oppressiveness of the world.”

- Jenna Wortham
