A nerdy fantasy haven right on Main Street…

This salon is run by the lovely owner Su-Shan, in the back of her husband JD’s comic and toy shop. When I tell you I was so excited to grab a spot on this team. Not only are the owners a couple of fellow nerds, but they’re also strong allies of the queer community. Su-Shan has warmly welcomed multiple trans technicians onto her team, and has a strong “no hate” policy. All are welcome here. Check out their full website here: starshinephilly.com

Parking

It’s Manayunk, which means you’re most likely gonna pay for parking, unfortunately. Good news is this location is right on Main Street with several parking options around it within walking distance.

Accessibility

If you can’t do stairs, I’m sorry. :( Unfortunately this location has its massage suites on the second floor of the building with no elevator access. So if you aren’t able to use stairs, I would see about booking me on a Saturday at my other location, which is fully accessible. :)
